Through their leadership, service and philanthropy, Robin and Jack Ross have generously contributed to Northwell Health and the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research for more than two decades. In 2013, Robin and Jack established the Ross Prize in Molecular Medicine at the Feinstein Institutes, an endowed international scientific research award given to individuals whose work has prominent, near-term application. In December 2021, the Rosses endowed the Robin and Jack Ross Chair in Bioelectronic Medicine and Neuroimmunology, a position that will lead the Institute of Bioelectronic Medicine at the Feinstein Institutes. 

As Northwell Foundation’s assistant vice president of principal gifts, Robin works with philanthropists who support healthcare innovations and cutting-edge medical research. Throughout her career she has raised more than $150 million to advance the health of patients globally. In 2005, Robin started the annual Feinstein Summer Concert, which has raised more than $45 million for medical research.

She is one of the founders of Advancing Women's Science and Medicine (AWSM) at the Feinstein Institutes, which promotes and supports the careers of emerging female scientists. Jack is a managing partner and co-founder of Waterfall Asset Management, an investment firm focused on structured credit and loans. With more than 35 years of securitization experience, he completed some of the earliest transactions at Drexel Burnham Lambert and co-founded Merrill Lynch’s asset-backed securities group. Jack serves as vice chair of the board of directors for the Feinstein Institutes and sits on its development committee. Robin and Jack live in New York City and have three grown children: Allison, Taylor and Daniel.
