Julia Zhao is Site Director of BioLabs@NYU Langone, where she leads New York City’s largest life science incubator and supports a community of 40+ biotech ventures. She previously served as Global Director of Operations at Nucleate, overseeing accelerator programs across more than 20 global sites and supporting hundreds of early-stage life science teams. Julia earned her PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, with research focused on cancer drug discovery. She also serves on the Board of Directors of NewYorkBIO and is passionate about connecting science, entrepreneurship, and investment to accelerate biomedical innovation.
