Megan Prescott is a Program Manager of Life Sciences at The New York Academy of Sciences. Megan is responsible for developing and executing scientific conferences, symposia, and workshops under the realm of life sciences. She worked as a Science Media Fellow at TED conferences. She received her PhD in microbiology from the University of Georgia, studying virulence associated genes in Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
