Cassie Chartier is a Program Manager of Life Sciences at The New York Academy of Sciences. Prior to joining the Academy, she was a 2024-2025 AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow where she advised a U.S. Senator on health and science policy. Cassie received her BS degree in Chemistry from the University of Rhode Island in 2019 before earning her PhD in Chemical Biology from Columbia University in 2024. Her doctoral research focused on understanding how interactions between proteins can alter protein function.
